The outpatient program at Leo A. Hoffmann Center, Inc. strives to work with adolescent males using the most up-to-date methods, techniques, and interventions available to address inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviors. Treatment components are strength-based, multi-modal, and focus on the treatment of the adolescent as a whole; this involves addressing sexual behaviors, as well as significant issues and dynamics associated with sexually abusive behaviors. The program includes the use of an educational and relapse prevention curriculum Pathways: A Guided Workbook for Youth Beginning Treatment (Safer Society Press 2001).
Eligibility: Adolescent males, ages 11 to 17 years of age, are eligible for outpatient group therapy services using the following criteria:
-
Adjudication or acknowledgment of committing a sexual offense

Parent/Caregiver Support Groups
One Sunday per month, based on interest level, parents and caregivers have the opportunity to gather to learn more about the dynamics of sexual misconduct and treatment, as well as to share their struggles in coming to terms with their adolescent’s sexual behavior problems.
*Successful completion of this program is based on clients making progress on their individualized treatment goals and not necessarily on a set number of completed group therapy sessions.
