Shelter Services

The
Leo A. Hoffmann Center provides shelter services for boys. These services are designed for 11-17 year olds who are experiencing:
 
 
  • Family conflict or crisis
  • Behavioral difficulties
  • Physical or sexual abuse
  • The need for temporary respite
  • Transition between placements
  • Severe emotional problems
 
Basic services provided include:
 
  • 24-hour intake
  • Stabilization
  • Structured living environment
  • Skill-building classes
  • Education/study time
  • Discharge planning
 
Optional services for purchase:
 
  • Full 14 to 30-day residential assessments
  • Outpatient assessments
  • Outpatient individual, family or group therapy
